TMT Test in Yelahanka
A treadmill test records the heart’s electrical activity and clinical response during graded exercise. It is performed only after the request, preparation and suitability for exercise testing are reviewed.

When to seek emergency care
Do not delay when symptoms are severe.
- Active chest pain, severe breathlessness, fainting or unstable symptoms require emergency assessment—not a scheduled TMT.
- Stop exercise and alert staff immediately if concerning symptoms occur during testing.
- The clinician may postpone the test when it is unsafe or additional evaluation is required.

Call with the referring request. The team must confirm that the test is appropriate and safe before scheduling.
How should I prepare?
Preparation may include clothing, food, medicines and previous reports. Follow the instructions given during booking rather than stopping medicines yourself.
How long does a TMT take?
The exercise portion is usually brief, but registration, preparation, monitoring and recovery require additional time. The team will provide an estimate.
What happens if I develop symptoms?
The test is stopped and the supervising team evaluates you. Further emergency assessment or specialist care may be recommended.
